Christoph Berg is the very talented musician responsible for Field Rotation. Having recently brought out the superb full-length Acoustic Tales on Fluid Audio, Christoph has now released an album on Hibernate Recordings, And Tomorrow I Will Sleep.
Whereas Acoustic Tales was of a neo-classical nature, this work is marked by experimentation, drones and ambience. As you would expect from Christoph,...

I’m going to be on BBC Radio Wales tonight, on Adam Walton’s 10pm-midnight slot. I believe he’ll be playing one of my tracks and perhaps a brief mention of who I am and what I do too. I can’t share the exact playlist and time I’ll be on until the show has been broadcast, but I will be in there somewhere.
If you can’t pick up BBC Radio Wales where you live, it...

I really like the SoundCloud service and use it a lot, so I was excited that they made me their SoundClouder of the day yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever had so much attention for my music.
You can check out their blog post about me and a whole lot of other musicians here
I’ve been very busy with a few ongoing projects recently so have neglected this place a little, hopefully...

My friend Mark Walters who records ambient/experimental music under the Savaran moniker has just released an album on Feedback Loop, the Portugal based label of another friend and erstwhile collaboration partner, Leonardo Rosado.
As always with Mark’s work, it’s a great release and it can also be downloaded for free here

Fluid Radio’s Digital Edition is a pdf magazine comprising the month’s finest reviews, interviews and features. Though only the second issue, April’s edition is already looking really great and makes for an interesting read.

I’m no longer writing for the excellent music website Future Sequence regularly due to too much of a workload, but I still had a piece on Kyle Bobby Dunn’s album Ways Of Meaning to finish off and it was published a day or two ago.
Though his instrumental works are superficially similar to other contemporary ambient/drone projects, Brooklyn based composer Kyle Bobby Dunn seems to...

randall went out for a walk yesterday and hasn’t been seen since. he missed practice and an in-store session with his band, whales, and he had a commitment to petsitting that has obviously gone unfulfilled. while he’s gone incommunicado before, he’s never…
