I’ve gotten around to finishing the editing for the completed tracks of my upcoming album. Here’s a preview, ‘On Recovery’.

It’s a personal track and features a lot of field recordings made while nursing my dog Finley back to health after a very serious illness. He’d be lying on my lap while I tried to play guitar without waking him from his horribly unnatural drugged up sleep and then we’d go for short walks in the fields out behind our house - actually that’s how most of the album was made, in very small snatches of cathartic relaxation taken from an overwhelmingly stressful time.

I’m happy with the way the album’s turning out and I’ve got most of it finished, so once I’ve recorded a couple more tracks from the sketches and ideas I’ve got lying around here, I’ll probably start to see if I can find a home for it somewhere.
